FDA data integrity requirements are among the most strenuous that regulated industries have to comply with.

And the FDA is keeping pressure on those with data integrity shortcomings — issuing a growing number of warning letters every year for the last few years.

Simply put, to avoid citations, electronic records must be trustworthy and reliable across their entire data lifecycle — from initial data creation through long-term archival.

Compliantly managing essential data can be an overwhelming, even mind-boggling undertaking.

Thankfully, there's an expert with deep knowledge who can explain complex FDA data integrity regulations in simple 'what to do, how to do it' language.

Award-winning FDA compliance expert, author and Cerulean founder John Avellanet will be the workshop leader. He is recognized globally for his business-savvy pragmatic advice and engaging speaking style.

A former FDA and DOJ prosecutor calls Mr. Avellanet, “The best in the business. Period.”

After two days of 'total immersion' study, attendees will return to the office with increased understanding based on team exercises and case studies … informative, detailed explanations … and honest no-holds-barred discussions with John and fellow attendees.

During each of 10 workshop sessions, attendees will participate in interactive group projects… review case studies … draft practice business cases, plans and communications … and more.

They’ll also simulate investigative scenarios using real data from real inspections — and even determine whether or not warning letters should be issued!

Consider this. The FDA gives simple instructions to its investigators: “If initial findings indicate the firm’s electronic records may not be trustworthy and reliable … a more detailed evaluation may be warranted.”

That's the polite way of saying this is when manufacturers can expect to receive a warning letter.

Don't let things get to this point. Attend FDA Data Integrity: From Data Creation to Long-Term Archive in Raleigh on Dec. 8-9, 2015.

Meet the Speaker:
John Avellanet, Founder Cerulean Associates LLC

John Avellanet is an award-winning FDA compliance expert known for his business-savvy, pragmatic advice and engaging speaking style. Mr. Avellanet was the lead author of several certification courses on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality System Regulation (QSR) supplier management for the US Regulatory Affairs Professional Society.

Article on Patents in the Fashion Industry Underlines the Need to Stand Out in a Highly Competitive Field, Notes XL Fabrics

Commenting on the recent article, the Los Angeles based fabrics manufacturer notes that clothing manufacturers need not resort to patent trolling to succeed in the fabrics distribution industry.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 29, 2015

According to an article published October 7th on Fortune, the fabric manufacturing and wholesale industry has in recent years been overwhelmed by a large number of copyright lawsuits that many observers are labeling as blatant “patent trolling.” Described as a way to increase company income by pursuing copyright settlements that they may or may not be entitled to, patent trolling appears to be commonplace across many industries where one competitor’s product may be similar to another. According to XL Fabrics, it is much better for a company to distinguish itself by creating benefits for their customers, rather than barriers for their competitors. The firm notes that its number one priority is providing their customers with unique and trending fabrics at affordable wholesale prices.

  • Unique Options – The reason that there are so many patent disputes in the fabric industry, XL Fabrics explains, is because there is tremendous pressure within the industry to keep up with all of the latest fashion trends, and carry the fabrics that are currently most-sought after by clothing manufacturers. While it may be tempting for lesser companies to "borrow" existing designs in pursuit of this goal, XL Fabrics explains that their designers are sure to hit on what is most appreciated about each trend fabric, while differentiating it in a way that provides clothing makers with a unique and creative option.
  • Wholesale Price Points – While quality is likely the top priority for the artistic minds behind the latest and greatest fashion boutiques, the accounting departments in all of these top companies also appreciate when they can get these fabrics at prices that are generous to their margins. XL Fabrics explains that their over a decade of experience in making fabrics in the Los Angeles area has taught them how to streamline operations without cutting quality. They say that this is what allows them to deliver top-quality products to their valued clients.

XL Fabric concludes by stating that, when companies are able to deliver their customers a high-quality product at a price point more on par with lower quality alternatives, there is no need to rely on frivolous lawsuits to keep their company afloat. With a large selection of fabrics spanning many different designs, colors, textures, and materials, XL Fabrics is a natural landing place for any new or established clothing company looking to get a leg-up on the competition. Those interested in learning more about the products and prices available at XL Fabrics can call them today at (213) 623-2522 or visit them online at http://www.XLFabrics.com.

In Celebration of Dental Hygiene Month, Dr. Susan Goldfarb Educates Patients on Laser Gum Disease Treatment in Teaneck, NJ

This October is Dental Hygiene Month, and Dr. Susan Goldfarb is celebrating by educating patients on the latest in laser dentistry in Teaneck, NJ. Patients suffering from gum disease are encouraged to take advantage of this state-of-the-art procedure, eradicating bacteria and infection below the gum line without incisions or stitches.

Teaneck, NJ (PRWEB) October 29, 2015

Susan Goldfarb, DMD, is recognizing Dental Hygiene Month this October, by educating patients on the importance of improving their oral health and eradicating gum disease with laser dentistry in Teaneck, NJ. Dr. Goldfarb is proud to offer a revolutionary laser procedure called the LANAP® protocol. This procedure was designed to eliminate gum disease, without the trauma associated with traditional treatment methods. This FDA-cleared option is minimally-invasive and does not require cutting or scalpels.

Gum disease begins with an accumulation of plaque around the base of the teeth and below the gum line. This substance is composed of bacteria and food acid, and should be removed with daily brushing and flossing twice daily, as well as regular professional dental cleanings. Without proper care, plaque calcifies on the teeth and roots, causing irritation and infection, which may deteriorate delicate gum tissue and the supporting structures that anchor the teeth to the jaw. Decay affects teeth as well as the gums, eventually leading to tooth loss.

Most dentists treat gum disease by scraping the calculus from the teeth and cleaning the infection and decay from the gums. This often requires the gums to be cut and pulled back, where the area is exposed for cleaning. The incisions frequently cause excessive trauma to delicate tissues, causing hindered recovery and difficulties with reattachment to the roots of teeth.

People who are interested in a less invasive alternative can now opt for laser dentistry in Teaneck, NJ at Dr. Goldfarb’s practice. The small tip of the laser can be inserted below the gum line to easily access damaged tissue, without harming healthy tissue. In addition to cleaning the area, the laser stimulates new tissue growth, cauterizing the gums to allow for minimal bleeding; recovery is measured in days rather than weeks.

People in Teaneck, NJ who are ready to celebrate Dental Hygiene Month, with restored oral health through laser dentistry, can find more information on Dr. Goldfarb’s website.

About the Doctor:

Susan Goldfarb is a periodontist offering personalized dental care for patients in Teaneck, NJ since 1984, and was one of the first female periodontists in Bergen County. Dr. Goldfarb received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, and completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. She went on to receive her Certificate of Periodontics from the Fairleigh S. Dickinson School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Goldfarb is part of one percent of dental professionals providing the LANAP® FDA cleared laser procedure for gum disease and periodontal treatment. Aside from being a laser practice, she also performs BOTOX and facial fillers such as Juvederm Ultra. Interior designer helps families create living spaces that are functional beautiful and able to stand up to the joy and chaos that can come from living with pets and kids

Portland Oregon (PRWEB) October 29, 2015

Neil Kelly Company, an award-winning design-build remodeling firm hired Barbara Miller, ASID, CAPS, as design consultant. Barbara is a recognized expert on the psychology behind interior design and has been featured in Dwell on Design and This Old House. She previously served as founder and principal designer at Barbara Miller Interior Design.

“Barbara has a keen eye for design, noteworthy experience in the industry, a fun and informative approach with her clients, and a great ability to bring that expertise to every project she takes on. She creates beautiful, highly-functioning spaces catered to the specific lifestyle needs of her clients. We’re proud to welcome her to the Neil Kelly family,” states Randy Hudson, Neil Kelly’s VP Sales.

Tips for Designing Living Spaces For Children and Families
Miller offers the following insight into the psychology behind designing spaces for a family:
1.    Consider your dining room table’s shape. Rectangular tables convey authority and structure. They are, great for young children if you are looking to establish discipline or a dinner routine. Round tables facilitate discussion and exchange. Consider this shape if you have a ‘tight-lipped teen’ and would like him or her to share more about their day.
2.    Think of today—as well as tomorrow. If you are remodeling a kitchen or bath, consider lowering the level of your light switches. By lowering light switches to 48” (the ADA height for wheelchair access) you can create spaces that are easy for small children to navigate, as well as homeowners who may need special accommodations in later years.
3.    Your “clutter” can yield design inspiration. Let the clutter in your home help you prioritize your next remodeling project. Piles of items that seem to regularly appear are not a sign that you are messy but an indicator that your home is not serving you properly. Simple storage solutions that address exactly how your family lives can improve the quality of your life and your sanity!

“When it comes to residential design in Portland, Neil Kelly truly is the pinnacle,” states Miller. “I was attracted to the company’s broad team of designers, project managers and artisans who deliver consistency, quality and unparalleled craftsmanship to clients,” shares Miller.

Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is working to submit the NO MORE GUESSING to appropriate companies for their review.

PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 31, 2015

"I have two dogs, and I could never tell which one of them urinated in the house, making it difficult to figure out which dog needed more training," said an inventor from Franklin, Wis. "I came up with this idea so that pet owners can tell which of their animals is urinating in the home."

This ensures that a dog who is urinating indoors can receive additional training, which makes house-breaking dogs less stressful. It offers added peace of mind to pet owners. In addition, the accessory features a natural, non-toxic design, and it is easy to use.

PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 31, 2015

Picking up after a pet drops solid waste on the ground can be an unsanitary chore, but it’s a must if a healthy environment and politeness are to be maintained. In order to facilitate this task, an inventor from Pensacola, Fla., developed and acquired a patent for the REFUSE RETRIEVAL, STORAGE AND DISPOSAL APPARATUS.

It also prevents littered property and is treated at a sanitation system instead of the city dump, which benefits the environment. Overall, it promotes convenience.

The user scoops up the waste with an extraction mechanism and end doors close automatically. He or she turns the unit upside down so that the waste goes into an extraction chamber. Digital Marketing Firm Fair Marketing Launches New Marketing Automation, Lead Acceleration Product

Fair Marketing introduces FairLeads, a comprehensive marketing automation CRM that helps companies convert anonymous web visitors into warm leads and sales.

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) October 31, 2015

Houston-based Fair Marketing, an award-winning marketing and communications firm, has created a new product designed to help businesses increase their supply of warm leads by up to 451%. The product, called FairLeads, helps companies convert anonymous web visitors into actionable leads while offering additional lead nurturing and analytics features to increase client ROI.

Most web-based lead generation tools on the market require customers to fill out onsite registration and subscription forms. FairLeads does not. Instead, the program uses retargeting networks and browser data to passively pinpoint the visitor's identity. This gives the sales staff the information it needs to reach out to the prospect and initiate a relationship.

The FairLeads toolbox delivers a comprehensive solution to lead capturing and nurturing. Leads are automatically added to the built-in CRM platform, where they are scored for sales readiness. The software also gathers up social media data, which means the sales team can follow, "like," and interact with customers across all major social platforms.

"The FairLeads lead scoring algorithm evaluates user behavior to determine when each prospect is ready to make a decision," said Roger Janik, Fair Marketing CEO. "The software then alerts the appropriate sales representative so he or she may increase his or her chances of closing the sale. Daily lead reports keep sales representatives busy, productive, effective, and informed."

FairLeads is armed with other powerful analytical tools as well. For example, it offers an A/B testing platform to help evaluate the effectiveness of lead nurturing emails. FairLeads customers can also evaluate the effectiveness of each web page on their site by tracking entry and exit pages, bounce rates, and other vital pieces of data.

Fair Leads is more than a comprehensive software package, however. Every FairLeads client is assigned a Fair Strategist to help them make the most of the program. Customers also receive support from the Fair Marketing team, which helps them develop lead nurturing emails, banner ads, and other assets which work in conjunction with the program to maximize sales.

A leading invention company, InventHelp is submitting this idea, the RAMOS EZ LIGHT, to companies for their consideration.

PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 31, 2015

When driving it's important to let other drivers what turn is going to be made in order to avoid serious consequences. This is why an inventor from Bronx, N.Y., designed the RAMOS EZ LIGHT. "I wanted to offer drivers a safer way to make turns, so I conceived of my design," he said.

This set of modified front turn signals enables a driver to make turns in a safer manner. This alerts other drivers to what turn is being made, which helps avoid accidents, damage, injuries and fatalities. The set is easy to use, compatible with all vehicles and producible in different sizes.
